The Retro Mutants are a synth pop trio from Iceland and they really are an artist to watch in the coming few years!
The boys that are bringing back the retro 80s sound have landed with their incredible debut EP 'History'.

The incredible 80s synth sounds sooth your eardrums the whole way through the EP with some great pop punk inspired vocals especially on the track 'Look Behind Your Shoulder', my favourite track on the EP.
The EP title track 'History' is a brilliant piano, synth track with some love inspired lyrics and a catchy tune that keeps you hooked.
My review is a bit muddled and not doing the tracks in order but hey ho! The first track is an instrumental called 'Aerobics Level 2' that really is the track that gets you in the 80s synth mood straight from the start! Party on dudes!
'Sandra' is all about letting that one true love go and hoping that one day they will meet again. A great synth pop inspired love ballad.
'My TV Dream' has a great 80s retro style with some brilliant vocals and synth brings you into their unique sound and want to listen to more!
The Retro Mutants really do have a future ahead of them and we really hope we can help them and push the boundaries of new synth pop.
