Single Review Take Me Home - Scott Beckett

Scott Beckett is a very talented up and coming singer songwriter hailing from the home town of The Beatles, Liverpool. Scott performs regularly in the city centre and has been a resident artist in The Cavern Club for 18 months.

Scott's debut single 'Take Me Home' came out on Monday 19th February 2018 and what a single this is! It is the lead single for his forthcoming EP 'Teach Me To Fly'!

Scott has a great tone to his voice and it really comes out in this brilliant track.

"Painting pictures of yesterday's world, trying to find my way back" great lyrics from a great song!

The song itself is written about wanting to try and find your way back home, even though your current situation may be seen by someone else as perfect, however to you it doesn't feel like home to you, so wanting to find your way back to that place that you can call home. This is a great little story that is told within Scott's lyrics on 'Take Me Home' and I honestly cannot wait for the album 'Teach Me To Fly' to come out in March and yes I will 100% be doing a review of this!

To me Scott Beckett has that British Indie/Pop voice similar to the likes of Ian Brown and Richard Ashcroft. We look forward to being part of helping his career fly of the ground and teach him how to fly!
