Single Wound are a Melodic Hard-core, Post-Punk 3 piece band from Vaughan, Ontario who have recently launched their debut EP - The Things I Never Got To Say in late 2017.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 "A brilliant debut EP from a great sounding Post-Punk band"
Straight away hitting you hard with that fantastic melodic hard-core sound with the first track of the EP, 'Abandon'. This song draws you in to what I have found is a very good debut EP and gets you head banging along to the track straight away. Next up we have the track 'Carrier', which just punches you in the face with a huge whack and gets you hooked once again, making you want to listen to the EP more than once! The third track of the four song EP is 'Breathe', which has the strongest set of lyrics on the whole track list. You really need to take a listen to the lyrics of this song and you can hear the passion these guys have for their craft. My favourite track on the EP has got to be the last song 'Separated', to me the perfect sounding post-punk sounding track with a mix of clean vocals and those raspy screaming vocals you get with this genre of music. Overall a brilliant debut EP from a great sounding Post-Punk band, I look forward to new music in 2018 and hopefully we can keep in touch with these guys and we pretty much guarantee this will not be the last you hear of these guys!
Check out a couple of their songs on our Spotify Playlist Ctrl-Alt Rock and also on their Bandcamp site.
Here is a link to their Spotify page for you to listen to the EP also.
