MTN: For our readers who have never heard your music, explain your sound in 5 words:
Alexander: Alternative/indie feel good music
MTN: What made you get into music in the first place?
Alexander: When I was 10 years old my grandma randomly gave me an acoustic guitar. I had no idea what to do with it but to start taking some lessons and messing around.
MTN: If you could perform at any venue or festival in the world, where would this be?
Alexander: If I could perform anywhere in the world it'd be at the Glastonbury festival.
MTN: What is your favourite Movie?
Alexander: My favorite movie as of 2016 would have to The Revenant with Leonardo Dicaprio, who is also one of my favorite actors.
MTN: Who are your main influences?
Alexander: My main influences would include bands such as ColdPlay, U2, Arcade Fire, Vance Joy, the killers
MTN: Do you have any other talents other than being a singer/songwriter? (We won’t believe you if we don’t get video or photo footage!)

MTN: Have you any plans to come “Over the pond” to the UK anytime in the not so distant future?
Alexander: Yes I do have plans on getting over to the UK within the next year or sooner.
MTN: As an artists what does your image/fashion mean to you? Are you one to concentrate more on the music or blend the two together?
Alexander: I like to know what's current in fashion because I believe that fashion and music go hand in hand. In a way it says a lot about who you are. But the music definitely comes first.
MTN: What is your favourite food?
Alexander: My favorite food is definitely wings. Wings of any flavor but especially a decent kick with buffalo sauce. Can't get enough.
MTN: Where is the best holiday destination you have been or would like to go?
Alexander: One of my favorite holiday destinations especially over Christmas time is Colorado. I love the snow and the peacefulness of the mountains.
MTN: If you could collaborate with any artist/producer in the music industry who would this be and why?
Alexander: If I could work with any artist or producer it would be Chris Martin from ColdPlay. I love his melodies, the way he writes, and the way his production is so simple yet amazing.
MTN: If you could learn any other instrument what would you choose and why?
Alexander: I would love to learn the Accordion. It has such an elegant, open city sound. But it can also be used in such a creative way to put an alternative twist to it.
MTN: Do you have any Celebrity crushes?
Alexander: Every time Jennifer Anniston is on tv or is mentioned my friends and sisters joke with about how she's my crush but I don't
MTN: What do you normally start with when writing a new song? (E.g. the music or the lyrics?)
Alexander: When writing a song I normally always start with some chords and a vocal melody. The lyrics will come usually after I establish a melody.
MTN: What is your favourite song of all time?
Alexander: Ooo my favorite song of all time..I don't have one. It's impossible to have a favorite song. There's too many amazing songs out there to pick one. My favorite song is probably the next melody I create lol. Your favorite thing is always the newest.
MTN: What is the most embarrassing song you have on your music library?
Alexander: Probably Shake it Off by Taylor Swift. I love the melodies but there's no way I'll be listening to that by myself in the car.
MTN: Who would you most like to open for or have supporting you on a headline tour?
Alexander: I would love to open for Vance Joy.
MTN: What are the five things you can’t live without?
Alexander: I couldn't live without my very supporting family and girlfriend, music that gives me goosebumps, the ability to travel often, and the ability to come up with melodies to write songs.
MTN: What is your motto or advice you live by?
Alexander: My advice and motto I live by is to enjoy every moment in life because when you finish blinking it'll be over. Try new things.
MTN: What is your main inspiration when writing your songs?
Alexander: I guess my main inspiration when writing comes from being in love and wanting to always be happy.
MTN: Are we to expect a new album or EP coming soon at all?
Alexander: Yes, you can definitely expect and EP or single release within the next month.
I've been in the studio recording lots of material and I'm very excited to share.
