We are honoured to interview such a talented producer as JackEL and we look forward to working with him more in the future!

Have a read of the interview below!

MTN: Hey JackEL! Thanks for accepting to have an interview with upcoming music tweeters and bloggers Musicate The Nation.

JackEL: Hey guys, thanks for having me!

MTN: For the viewers who are you, where are you from and what type of music do you produce?

JackEL: Mostly everyone now a days call me JackEL. I am a 19-year-old Music Producer DJ. I am originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada but now resign in Las Vegas. I have a lot of fun producing all different types of music. I range from Jazz/Blues to EDM/House music. I am most known for Dance Music.

MTN: When did you start as a producer and what made you want to start?

JackEL: I started Producing music when I was 8 years old. I would record myself playing instruments and arrange songs together. I would compose original music and get my friends and myself to perform the songs to my family and friends. At age 14 I began exploring beat creating on the laptop that I had. Ever since that day I’ve been producing music officially on my computer and really enjoying it. Music is something I really love and connect with. It’s my hobby and something that I was born into doing. I can’t imagine myself not creating music.

MTN: Who are your main influences?

JackEL: I’m constantly changing my interests as an artist and therefore change my main influencers quite often as well. I have a lot of fun trying new things and going out of my comfort zone with music and even outside of music. I have a lot of respect for Skrillex because he’s managed to create such an impact with his music. I’m really enjoying Disclosure and there sound these days.

MTN: Where is the best place in your opinion you have played and why?

JackEL: My favourite place I’ve performed at was South Korea. I did a 7 city tour there when I was 16 and loved every city I visited. I loved experiencing their culture. I found it funny how I couldn’t speak there language, yet I bonded with a lot of individuals there just off my music.

MTN: If you could choose to play at any place or any festival in the world, where would that be?

JackEL: I’ve always fancied Coachella, and it has been a dream of mine to perform there. Although it is an American event, I think that is highest on my list of places to perform.

MTN: What is your favourite food/foods?

JackEL: Ever since I moved to Las Vegas when I was 16, I’ve grown a huge addiction for Sushi. I really try to limit myself to having it only 2 times a week. So delicious!

MTN: Name a talent other than producing great music?!

JackEL: Although these days most of my time and energy is focused on Music and expanding in every direction I can with that, I’ve actually had an amazing past and was a very athletic kid growing up. I managed to accumulate a large collection of medals and awards for Soccer, Hockey, Baseball, Track, Volleyball, and even Football for a bit. I’m always open to trying new things, and I’m very competitive.

MTN: Do you all have a favourite track that you have produced so far?

JackEL: It’s hard for me to pick a favourite, because each track has it’s own unique process in creating it, and each track gives off its own feel. I like to ask other people what there favourite is.

If I had to pick though, I would go with Crazy Ft. Ras Kronik

MTN: When can we expect some new material?

JackEL: I actually have a Brand New Song coming out Oct 1st with my EDM DUO partner Nikki Phoenix. It’s called Days Like This and I know it’s going to do very well.

MTN: If you could collaborate with any music producer or artist in the music industry, who would that be and why?

JackEL: I have a lot of respect for many different talented individuals in the music industry, and it would be hard for me to single out one person. I am a big fan of Mike Foster from Foster The People, and would love to work with him on something eventually.

MTN: Are you all looking to further your music career and become the next big thing or is it more of a hobby for you all?

JackEL: Music is my favourite hobby, and has been since my early youth. Music brings me so much Joy and Happiness its hard to really explain. I plan to create a positive impact with my music and inspire others to go and follow their dreams. I’m not after being the next big thing. But I am interested in being an important figure in Music History & Modern Society. I’m always after promoting positivity and enlightenment any way I can.

MTN: Finally are there any shout outs to any producers or artists you want to give out?

JackEL: I’d love to give a shout out to the amazing @IamNikkiPhoenix (Nikki Phoenix) who is my amazing music partner in our Duo Act @Jackeldphoenix ( JACKELD PHOENIX ). I also would like to give a shout out to all my fans that have supported me from the very beginning. It’s amazing to see the positive support <3 Thank you.

MTN: Thanks for the interview JackEL, it’s been a pleasure and an honour to interview such a talented producer.
