Curtis Clacey is a upcoming rap/hiphop artist from Leicester, UK. He has been hitting the local music scene lately with a huge sledgehammer, getting plays on BBC Introducing and being pictured with the legendary Charlie Sloth of BBC 1 Xtra.

Curtis has grown tremendously throughout his rapping career and you can see that on his tracks, as one be one they just keep getting better and better! Within the last year he has featured on tracks with fellow artists such as RNB singer Matthew R, who we also promote on our channel. Other artists featured include J Jnr, C James, Life of Remedy and Wachii. I mean he has even had a freestyle with the one and only Labrinth, I mean come on, that is totally fricking awesome!

Curtis is 100% one to watch for the future and one to see live! He will be playing an acoustic session at our Oxjam gig in October, so keep yours eyes peeled for more info on the within the next few months on ours and Curtis's social media pages!

MTN RATING 9/10

Anyway! To the review of his latest EP "Late Nights"! This is one heck of a record, if you havent listened already then you seriously need to! Late Nights was launched on 28th July and has already had over 10,000 views already on Soundcloud and I'm sure he will be kicking up a few more in the near future!

I had to give this EP 9/10 as it is just a complete and utter masterpiece! Although the reason I didn't give it a 10 is that I know with Curtis he will bring out a better record before you know it!

As for the tunes, Curtis is one to rap about the kind of stuff that is meaningful to him and not about random things going on in the world or stuff that doesn't appeal to him in anyway. He raps from the heart and it is the kind of music you listen to and not just hear! Hope that makes sense! Within the EP, each one of his tracks is just damn near perfect and here at MTN we are seriously big fans of this EP and Curtis himself! One if his tracks "On This" features Life of Remedy, a fellow musician who has got some talent as well. My favourite track on the EP has got to be "Sun Comes Up (Sing For You), don't ask why, because I genuinely have not idea! I suppose it just appeals to me a bit more than the other tracks! However, don't get me wrong the other tracks are just as good!

Come on Mr Curtis Clacey we need some news on a new EP or Album.
